Lead prosthodontist and dental implant expert at BIDH dental hospital for Straumann implants, Dr. Chatchai Kunavisarut DDS., MSC., is one of Thailand’s pioneer dental experts. With experience in the dental implant field for over 20 years since its early infancy inception in Thailand, Dr Chatchai one of south-east asia lead international speaker and the first scholars for the International Team of Implantology (ITI) Straumann dental implants.

Graduated from USA from University of Florida and University of Chapel Hill in North Carolina, Dr Chatchai has certifications on clinical dentistry in the area of prosthodontics, implantology as well as oral and maxillofacial surgery. His specialization areas include new implants techniuqes on BLX and ceramic implants as well as full mouth rehabilitation cases with dental crowns, bridges and dentures.

Dr.Chatchai is a full-time Associate Professor on implantology at Thailand’s prestigious Mahidol University dental school. He lectures academically and teaches aspiring dentists on implant surgery and prosthetic implant treatments and works part-time at BIDH Dental Hospital and BIDC Dental Center.

As a full-time lecturer at Mahidol university, Dr Chatchai continously researchs and contributes to new developments on dental implant techniques and upcoming developments. He is one of the first dentist in Thailand to use and treat patients with SLActive surfaces implants 10 years back during its development. Today, he and his team leads the path as the firsts in Thailand on all ceramic implants.
